2026

  • Currently, there are 30 professors, 8 staff members, 217 doctoral students, 122 master's students, 76 combined master's and doctoral students, 3 combined bachelor's and master's students, and 325 undergraduate students.

2008

  • Seoul National University College of Engineering, Department of Civil, Urban and Environmental Engineering, first new student admission (capacity: 55)

2007

  • Establishment of the Department of Civil, Urban and Environmental Engineering through separation from the Department of Energy and Resources Engineering

1997

  • Seoul National University College of Engineering, Earth and Environmental Systems Engineering Department, Civil Engineering, Urban, and Resource Engineering Departments integrated launched

1980

  • Moved from Gongneung-dong school building to Gwanak Comprehensive Campus

1978

  • Civil Engineering major and Urban Engineering major established within the Department of Civil Engineering

1946

  • Gyeongseong Technical College, Gyeongseong Mining College, and Kyungsung University Department of Science and Engineering were merged to form Seoul National University College of Engineering.

1946

  • Seoul National University College of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering launched

1899

  • Establishment of a commerce school during the Korean Empire
